My name is Tamara Jones and I am an Alberta appointed Marriage Commissioner serving the city of Calgary and surrounding areas. I am 36 years old and am the youngest Marriage Commissioner to receive this prestigious appointment from Alberta Vital Statistics, ever!
I am a romantic at heart and truly believe in the sanctity of marriage and love. I have a high work ethic, strong level of professionalism and yes - a great sense of humor! I'm a “people person”.
I am married and have 3 children, all boys. I have a very busy home just the way I like it! I am a past graduate of University of Calgary (Human Resources). I have recently resigned from WestJet Airlines where I enjoyed the past 11 years working with the Airports and Airports Learning and Development Team. I will always have fond memories of WestJet as this is where I met my husband (he works at WestJet as well). I have 12 years of public speaking experience to large and small groups as well as local and national media.
In Alberta, a Marriage Commissioner is appointed by the Government of Alberta and conducts a Civil Marriage Ceremony.
